Maxima is an OpenSource Computer-Algebra-System (CAS). It was published under the GNU General Public Licence (GPL).
Maxima offers you a full OpenSource Computer-Algebra-System (CAS), what allows you to use the software for free for lessons in school and in private. Maxima is supported by a hugh communitiy which develops new extensions.
On this site we will invite you to this software, give you examples of what is possible with Maxima and even some material which you can use for your lessens in school. Therefore we made some examples and tutorials under the menu items. |

Maxima 4 School offers a platform, on which you can become familiar with using maxima in school. Therefore you will find basic information about the CAS-Maxima, as wellas examples for using maxima in your lessons. Furthermore you have the opportunity to get in contact with other users in the forumto share information and knowledge on maxima and the differentapplications. More informationen you will find in the Wiki-database. |
